The academy curriculum has four stages. In each stage the aim is for the child to enter the next one physically, technically and mentally ready.
Stage 1 – Discovery (ages 5-8)
Play-based, short and colourful sessions. Dribbling, balance, coordination and teamwork come first. Match results are not recorded.
Stage 2 – Core skills (ages 9-11)
Passing, ball control, first touch and 1v1 work intensify. Small-sided games and 7v7 matches are used.
Stage 3 – Game understanding (ages 12-14)
Positional knowledge, tactical discipline and build-up play begin. Players going through growth spurts follow a tailored load-management plan.
Stage 4 – Performance (ages 15-19)
An intensive training schedule, video analysis, an individual development plan and scouting meetings with professional clubs.
In all stages development is measured at the start and end of each term, and parents receive a written report.
